If you have a website with us, you may e-mail an image to us and we'll add it to our image pool. You can send one image for every website you host with us. This is a free service for our clients. Having a link from Brownrice Internet will help your site with both link relevancy (think "google rankings") and traffic.
How should my image look?
Give us a logo or an eye-grabbing image that represents your business.
How do I grab just a square of my web page?
(you may need your web developer's help)
- Visit your website and find something that you think would look good in a small thumbnail.
- Click the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.
- Open up an image editor program and paste the image of your screen in.
- Find the bit of that screenshot you thought looked interesting and crop the image around it (make sure it's square).
- Send it to us in an e-mail.
Image formatting
- Must be a jpeg
- Must be at least 100 pixels wide (sending a bigger image is perfectly fine)
- Must be exactly square

How often will my thumbnail show up?
On the front hosting page, the images are randomly selected from a pool. The larger the pool gets, the less often each image will be displayed.
On the clients page, your thumbnail will always show up.
